30 minutes of weight training
there currently isn't a muscle in my body that's not hurting in some way or another, and i'm not even to the worst part yet. :)

10 WEEKS - Wednesday
walked 9 miles.
yes.
9 miles.
more dead than alive currently, and i cannot walk with a limp in both legs... they hurt to a degree i've never experience before.
i have a long way to go in 9 short weeks.

Training Begins
walking 60 miles in 3 days seems completely impossible to me at the moment. hence the training... but still!!! TWENTY miles per day. that's like walking for 8 hours a day, or maybe it will even take longer than that.
but it's worth it. it's drastic. it's to draw attention to the fact that we're raising money for such a worthy cause.
so please... i need all the cheerleaders i can get. whether through words of encouragement or through fund-raising support (we have to raise $4,600 between me and steve, btw), we really need your help. and in case you weren't aware, i'm a bit of couch potato (well, i think desk potato is much more fitting) and all of this physical exertion might just do me in. :) but like i said... good cause. it's worth every ounce of effort.
to donate, you simply go to my facebook profile page and look for the donation button on the left. OR you go to www.the3day.org, and click the button that says "donate to a participant." you can search for me and steve by entering our names, and for reference, our team name is "sixty miles ahead."
this blog will be updated daily since my training went into full force today. pictures might just show up in the days ahead, depending on if i can actually will a good photo of me into existance.
thanks for all of the support!
